UPDATE: As of 05/01/2016, Mitsuki and Akane routes are also now complete, as well as a few minor routes!
Happy holidays, and long time no see! It’s been quite busy around here since last we spoke, hasn’t it? Just last month, we saw the launch of the latest major release from âge, as well as a slew of tasty Kickstarter updates. We here at Alternative Projects have been keeping busy, too – and we feel terrible for not keeping you in the loop! So, let’s start this off with a quick progress update for Kimi ga Nozomu Eien:
The first draft for Haruka Route is now complete.
This marks the first completed route, bringing the project to a total of nearly thirty-thousand lines. To celebrate this milestone, I wanted to share just a short glimpse of how the translation is coming along, just in time for the holidays. It’s by no means final, and is still very much a one-man pet project at this point, but I really hope you enjoy it.
So, yeah. Merry Christmas, or whatever. Sorry about the length – hopefully it didn’t put you to sleep. Anyways! That’s all for now, so I guess you’ll hear from me again once Mitsuki Route’s finished! Hope you’re all snuggled up under blankets and enjoying the spirit of the season with friends and loved ones.
All the very best,
〜evan

Any news on the Muv Luv Altered Fable translation? Last update we had was on 2014…

It was mentioned that work was resuming on it in August of last year but it’s been silent since then. T_T

Mitsuki Route is now also complete, as of a couple months ago! Also a couple of bad ends. Things have slowed down a bit because of Muv-Luv, but should pick back up again soon! Thanks for your interest!

Are there any release of the project yet? Would be glad to test it even if at beta stage

Excellent! Thank you for the update regarding Mitsuki and Akane’s route. I check this site constantly for new info. I really appreciate all the work you are doing both with the KimiNozo translation and the Muv-Luv translation. Keep it up! Looking forward to experiencing both VNs for the first time.
PS. Would also like a new ARG podcast episode soon 🙂

thanks so much for your kind words and support. i’m so sorry for the lack of updates on the site lately. i do give more frequent smaller updates on my twitter account (@enjoievan), and share the occasional teaser screen or miniature side project there.
we’ve definitely got a few more topics for podcasts in the pipeline, though we’re not really able to talk a whole lot about the official stuff until it’s released. if there’s anything you’d like to hear talked about, do let us know! we love feedback on this sort of thing.
i hope you really, really enjoy the translations once they arrive. thanks again for your patience, and for sticking with us.

How’s going the translation of Muv-Luv Total Eclipse? It wasn’t updated for months up to now, is the project still progressing or pretty much halted?

It’d be super nice to have a new update on how the translation is progressing and how much there still is to be done. It’s a pretty insane translation project in terms of length so I don’t hold it against you for taking your time but people are probably curious about the progress you’ve made since last year. (Plus, there were several previous projects that crashed before they finished, so people might be getting worried as well.)
