Hi all, today we have a round of new project updates from Alternative Projects. As AP has started recruitment for more members to help work on more projects in the Muv-Luv franchise, I’m happy to report that our team has grown, and we have a number of new members who have joined us now working on different stories! Without further ado, please welcome our new members and our current projects!

Schwarzesmarken Light Novel Volume 1 (Chapter 3 & 4)
We have other projects planned, such as the rest of Chronicles, Total Eclipse, Ayu Mayu Alternative, and the various side stories, as well as the Schwarzesmarken VN when it’s released.
So we are still looking for more translators, English editors who know also know Russian, and especially programmers/hackers to help with the project. If you are one or know of anyone with these skills, and have an interest in the projects, do drop us an email!
Now, for updates in the franchise.
I’m very pleased to say that this month of May has seen a flood of releases and announcements from Age for Schwarzesmarken, or liberally translated into English, Black Marks. Thus this month has become the Black Month of May.
Age has announced that there will be an Anime for this series! This will be the second anime in the Muv-Luv franchise, following Total Eclipse. The anime will probably be released next year, after the release of the TWO VNs for Schwarzesmarken.

The first VN, titled Crest of Red Blood, is up for preorders, with a release date of Sept 2015, and can be ordered here.
The second, titled Martyrs, is stated as having a release date of Winter this year.
Next, an announcement for a new Light Novel Supplement for Schwaresmarken was also made, covering the side story of Irisdina Bernhard, titled The silhouette of the Bernhards.
On the model kits side, Kotobukia has finally announced the release date of the Non-scale MiG-21 Balalaika Theodor Eberbach Type Plastic Model, scheduled for a Sep 2015 release as well. Orders can be made here.
In addition, apparently this can be done with the new Frame Arms Girl that Koto released as well.

So uh possibly unrelated, but do you guys have a scripthook that works on muv luv’s downloadable win 7 editions? theyre so much easier to install me and a friend were thinking of just porting over the script from the original ml.
Evan here – this is actually something I was planning to try ro work on after finishing my current projects (if amaterasu gave permission, of course). Yes afhook will work on the win7 versions, but you would still need to reformat and hook all ~100k lines unless you have an adequete hacker. And it will not be quite so easy to remaster all of the translated images, and literally impossible to do what they did to nake a text document pop up during movies for voice-ony dialogue (entire final scene of unlimited, several cutscenes in alt). I have done a lot of analyzing on the amount of work involved, but if you beat me to it, just make sure you get permission and you know what you’re in for.
At this point, we do not have a version of afhook that works with Alternative Win7 version (rUGP v6.1). I’ll check with afhook-anon if he can help make one. After that, you’ll still have to get permission from amaterasu to use their lines, and then copy each line to the pkg file as mentioned.
Is Altered Fable dead ?
It has been a year without any news. Pretty normal for projects that only one person works on. But, yes, it may be dead. Let’s just hope that it will be picked sometime later by main team.

Are you going to release Schwarzesmarken chapters in pieces or the entire LN volume? Super pumped you’re continuing the translation…even though the ending to this can only be depressing.
I’ll release it chapter by chapter. Each chapter is about 95+ pages long, so it’ll be sometime until I finish the first vol.
